A Legionella Risk Assessment highlights
the necessary areas required for improvement to meet
those standards laid out by the HSC ACoP L8.
Water storage systems are often located in difficult
to reach areas such as loft or room spaces where the
water inside the tank has the potential to exceed the
maximum recommended temperature of 20ÂșC. These tanks
are rarely inspected, and without regular cleaning could
harbor harmful bacteria.
Older water storage systems tend to be constructed
from less modern materials, such as wood, or steel that
is suspect to corrosion.
Inefficient, badly constructed or damaged water storage
system lids/covers could allow debris, dust or other
potential contaminants to enter the cistern.
Wells Water Treatment Services employs a highly trained
and experienced team of water hygiene technicians who
can carry out the inspection, cleaning and chemical
disinfection of your water storage systems. |
