Pre Commission Cleansing

To avoid contamination during fitting, new hot and cold water services must be chemically chlorinated before connected to the water company mains water system.

Wells Water Treatment Services provides a service where skilled engineers, utilising our specialist equipment, attend a site and inject the most effective environment friendly chemicals into the system.

The system is pressurised and the chemicals allowed the appropriate time to cure. The system is then thoroughly flushed with clean water, followed by sample analysis to demonstrate effective chlorination.

This provides the certification required by all the water companies before authorising the connection.

There have been significant advances in the technology of heating and chilled water control systems over the last 10 years. The use of small bore multiport valves and high efficiency fan coil units is now common place.

To ensure long term protection against the damaging effects of fouling, lime scale and corrosion, the entire network of Heating and Chilled Water Systems must be chemically cleansed.

Both environmentally friendly and component friendly chemicals are used to ensure installation contaminants are removed from the system prior to use.

Some of the benefits of this service include:

  • Reduces fouling
  •

  • Reduces the build up of scale
  •

  • Reduces corrosion
  •

  • Reduces running costs by improving efficiency
  •

  • Improves the longevity of the system
